BACKGROUND: Published in May/June 1941 commemorating Germany's position in world-wide sea travel. The postcard features a 3Ppf Hindenburg Medallion pre-printed stamp and was created by the R.d.P, German Philatelists Group. The postcard is inscribed 'SEEGELTUNG WELTGELTUNG | AUFKLARUNGSAKTION FER DEN | GEDANKEN DER DEUTSCHEN SEEGELTUNG | IM GAU BERLIN MAI-JUN 1941 | DURCHGEFUHRT VOM GAURING FUR NATIONALSOZIALISTISCHE PROPAGANDA VOLKSAUFKLARUNG'
SPECIAL CANCEL: There was a special cancel available that featured a German Navy flag and the inscription "BERLIN-STEGLITZ | SEEGELTUNG | WELTGELTUNG"
