DAY of GERMAN POLICE
FIRST SET
(15th Feb 1941)
Issued to commemorate the Day of the German Police on 15th Feb 1941. These 4 postcards feature artistic views of the Police. The first card features two soldiers looking to their right with a large red swastika flag behind them. The second postcard features a single SS soldier in a similar pose with a large black flag with 'SS' imprinted in white and an eagle behind the flag. The third card shows two soldiers, one with his arm in a sling and the background illuminated by searchlights. The final card depicts two policemen and a donation jar used to collect money from the public to raise funds for the WHW.

SECOND SET
(15th Feb 1941)
There was another set of six postcards inscribed 'Tag der Deutschen Polizei' that features: 1. A policeman holding a small girl, 2. a policeman with his right hand raised and a boy beside him as if he is assisting the child across the road, 3. a policeman arresting an old criminal, 4. a policeman fighting a fire, 5. a policeman pointing at some boats, and finally 6. a policeman taking notes. All six are also inscribed with the date 15-16 Februar 1941'.

Gau Wurttemburg-Hohenzollern produced a set of five postcards all depicting artist's impressions of the heads of various police divisions.

There were at least two more postcards published to commemorate the day. The first card features a line drawing of the head and shoulders of a German and an Austrian soldier. Below the two figures is the inscription "Deutsche Polizei".
