BACKGROUND: This postcard was likely issued throughout 1941 until 1945 and exists in several forms and text and has a single black 1Rpf Hitler portrait pre-printed stamp.

There are three versions of the basic PP122-A-1 card as follows:

PP122-A-1/01: This card measures 140 x 83mm and the card is white.
PP122-A-1/02: This card measures 148 x 105mm and the card is cream coloured.
PP122-A-1/03: This card measures 150 x 104mm and the card is made of Chamois.

This card has 5 horizontal lines and a single vertical dividing line. In addition there is a print control code "C/1934".
