OFFICIAL POSTCARD

VALIDITY: 19th May 1941 until 31st Dec 1942
BACKGROUND: This single postcard was published to honour the workers of the German Postal Service and features an image of a celebration inside the Deutschlandhalle or German Hall in Berlin. The pre-printed stamp is a Michel 773, 6 + 9 Rpf stamp, and features a roll call in the Zeesen Youth Camp. The postcards were sold as part of set which included the stamps for a total cost of 2.30 RM and were available from all post offices throughout Germany. 1.38 M was a donation to Hitler's Culture Fund.
