BACKGROUND: Like 1928 issue P184. P198 is a double-sided reply card and has two 15 Rpf carmine Paul von Hindenburg pre-printed stamp.

On the Answer portion: P198 has the sender's section dotted line 1½ mm below the crossbar of the vertical dividing line, whereas for P184 the dotted line is 3mm below the crossbar of the vertical dividing line.



There are two versions of this card as follows:

P198-I: with four straight edges
P198-II: with one or more serrated edges.
