MICHEL P196 OFFICIAL POSTCARD
15 Rpf BACKGROUND: Like 1928 issue Michel P182 but now with 5 pre-printed lines of text and 3 dotted lines (21 mm high) in the sender's section. P196 has a 15 Rpf carmine, Hindenburg pre-printed stamp.
There are two versions of this card as follows:
ABOVE LEFT: P196-I: with four straight edges
ABOVE RIGHT: P196-II: with one or more serrated edges.

1. The postage rate from Germany to CZECHOSLOVAKIA was 10 Rpf so sending this card was a waste of 5 Rpf. The example below was cancelled in FREIBURG on 6th May 1932 and sent to WARNSDORF (now Veřovice in the modern day Czech Republic).
