BACKGROUND: Published in 1920 for use in Bavaria and featuring a 15Pf orange-yellow 'BAYERN' pre-printed stamp overprinted 'Deutsches Reich'. On the Message part of the card the words 'Postkarte | mit Antwortkarte' are printed just to the right of the vertical divider and the year of publication is printed in the lower right-hand corner of the card.
There were several private versions of this replycard.

P127(F)/(A): 1. LOUIS HEILBRONNER, MÜNCHEN There were at least four very similar private versions of this card (two 'F" and two 'A') published for Louis Heilbronner. In both cases the "Postkarte | mit Antwortkarte" and the "Postkarte | (Antworte)" have been overwritten with "Drucksache" and a solid horizontal line. In all cases the sender's section has multiple lines of text and the reverse side is completely taken up with text.

1(b). Answer portion: This second version of the card is the Answer portion and the price list on the reverse side has increased from the earier version above.
1(c). Answer portion: This third version of the card is the Answer portion and the blue lines are no longer present
P127(F)/(A): 2. LEHRER JAKOB BEYHL, WÜRZBURG
Another private version of P127 has the destination address of "Herrn Lehrer Jakob Beyhl | Wurzburg | Lerchenweg 1". The reverse side of both the Message (F) and the Answer (A) sides have been completely overwritten with typed text.
