BACKGROUND: Issued 6th May 1920. There were two printings of this card: The Berlin printing is noticeable as it has 71 dots on each line of the destination section of the card, whereas the Munich printing has 76 dots on each line.
There are several private versions of this postcard.

A private version of P121 exists with the word "Postkarte" obliterated, and the inscription "Wichtige Drucksachenkarte!" - 'Important printed matter card!' added below it. The reverse of the card is completely taken up with text.

This private version has the destination as "Herrn | C. Wanner Söhne | Lack- und Farbenfabrik | AUGSBURG"
3. BAD SCHACHEN
This private version has eight lines of text in the sender's section which starts with "BAD SCHACHEN | AM BODENSEE".
