BACKGROUND: DPB1 is a two-part card (like a reply card) for use by the orphan care community. The pre-printed stamps are 15Pf, 1920 issue Michel 36. The front part has the inscription "Von dem Gemeindewaisenrate in" and the reverse side is inscribed "An das K. Amtsgericht". The cards had to be separated before use in order to comply with the regulations. There are two versions of this card either with a '20' or a '21' date code.
