OFFICIAL POSTCARD
7½ Pf DEUTSCHES REICH
Issued: 28th Jul 1916. Published due to the increase in the reduced local postage for Wurttemberg, and for domestic postage through the introduction of a War Tax (so-called Reichsabgabe) on 1st Aug 1916. With watermark. The image of Germania on the value stamp is with an unshaded (plain white) background.
P110 was sold at various post offices with a supplement for the Red Cross. P110 with a 2½ Pf postage stamp stuck to the center under "Postcard" on an attached edge strip, comes from a postcard machine.
P110 exists in two variants:
P110-I: with straight edges
P110-II: with one or more serrated edges.
In addition to the basic card there were many others available with private printing.

DOMESTIC USAGE
1. The example below was cancelled in WERDER (HAVEL) on 14th Mar 1918 and was delivered to an address in BERLIN2. Another card destined for BERLIN, this one cancelled on 6th May 1922.
3. The following card was posted in DARMSTADT on 31st Aug 1923 and was destined for WIESBADEN
4. Destined for an address in FRANKFURT (MAIN) this card was cancelled on 12th Oct 1917 in DORTMUND.
EXPRESS DELIVERY
1. The postcard below was an Express Delivery from MANNHEIM on 3rd Nov 1916. The delivery took two days to reach its destination in ZURICH on 5th Nov 1916.2. Another Express Delivery card this time sent from REMDA to WEIMAR on 23rd Oct 1917
