Issued: 1916. Form change: Text form smaller, with the word "postkarte" in the centre of the card, above the vertical divider. Without watermark.

In addition to the basic card there were many others available with private printing.

DOMESTIC USAGE

This first card was cancelled on the train from BRAUNSWEIG on 10th Sep 1920 and was destined for HORNBURG in Lower Saxony.

The following domestically used card was sent from BINGEN to KASSEL on 8th Aug 1919.

The following domestically used card was sent from FREIBURG on 5th Aug 1919.

BAHNPOST - RAILWAY POST

1. The next domestically used card was cancelled on the CHEMNITZ-WEIPERT Railway on train number 1349 on 10th Jun 1920.

2. The next BAHNPOST usage was cancelled on the DRESDEN-KOHLFURT-BRESLAU Railway on train number 436 on 27th Oct 1920, with a final destination of LEIPZIG.

FOREIGN USAGE

This example of a foreign used card was sent from STARGARD to BASEL in SWITZERLAND on 25th Mar 1920. In addition to the 10Pf pre-printed stamp there is an additional 5Pf self adhesive Germania stamp.
