This set of three stamps issued in Jun 1920, was a re-issue of Michel A113 and Michel 115 due to an increase in the postal rates on 6th May 1920.

REGULAR ISSUE BAVARIAN STAMPS WITH OVERPRINT

These twenty stamps were issued on 6th Apr 1920 (Except for Michel 133 II which was issued in Jan 1921). They are stamps that were previously used in Bavaria without a 'Deutsches Reich' overprint. These stamps include some of the original Bavarian editions but also include new editions and new denominations (Mi 128, 132 and 135). Overprint by the Bruckmann Company (Munich)

Issued on 1st Apr 1920 these Official or 'Dienstmarke' stamps were for use by government agencies only in Prussia. These can be distinguished from official stamps used in the rest of Germany by the number '21' in the corners of the stamps.

Issued on 1st Apr 1920 these Official or 'Dienstmarke' stamps were for use by government agencies throughout Germany. These can be distinguished from official stamps used only in Prussia by the absence of the number '21' in the corners of the stamps. There are three additional higher value denominations that were not used in Prussia.
