REPRESENTATIVE IMAGES of the GERMAN EMPIRE (VI)

Michel 118 was designed by Lipinsky, was issued in Jun 1920, and depicts the union of North and South Germany. The winged sculture is 'Genius with a torch' by Albert Wolff, created in 1876 and resides in Heinrich-von-Kleist-Park, Berlin-Schoeneberg, Germany. This is a re-issue of Michel 115 only now with black overprint '* 2,50 M. *'
