BACKGROUND: This postcard was one of a large number published that feature artwork by renowned artist Paul Hey. This particular example, Christmas Card Nr. 13 titled "The Three Kings", was produced for "Verein für das Deutschtum im Ausland E.V." or the 'Organisation for Germanness Abroad'.

SPECIAL CANCEL: There was no special cancel associated with this card, but the example below features a regular CDS from "FRANKENBERG (SACHSEN)" on 30th Dec 1922.
