BACKGROUND: Issued: 21st Apr 1945. This was the final issue of Nazi stamps and was produced just weeks before the German defeat in World War II. They feature party organisations: Storm Troopers or 'SA' (Mi910) and the 'SS' (Mi910). Printed by the Vienna State Printing Office on sheets of 50 (10x5)
CAUTION: There are many forgeries of this stamp including some with fake BPP test marks and certificates. Also note that due to the short time this stamp was available for use before the end of the war, and the chaos in Germany in the last months of the war, there are many fake cancellations.
