BACKGROUND: Issued: 11th Sep 1944. Two identical stamps were printed by the State Printing Works in Vienna to commemorate the German goldsmiths's Society. The stamps were designed by E. R. Vogenaur and depict the Nautilus beaker. An official postcard was also available which features the same design as the stamps.
