BACKGROUND: Issued: 5th Nov 1943 and designed by Franz Roubal, this commemorative stamp was printed by the State Printing Works in Vienna. The inscription reads "UND IHR HABT DOCH GESIETT" - 'And you still won', referring to the rise to power of the Nazi's in 1933.
