BACKGROUND: On 5th Dec 1940 existing Luxemburg issue stamps were overprinted with new 'Rpf' values. The original stamp is a Michel LU 332 that was issued on 18th Sep 1939. It was designed by Hans Zaugg and printed by Courvoiser (Helio Courvoisire) S.A.
MONDORF LES BAINS is a spa town in south-eastern Luxemburg in the Remich canton. The image shows a woman enjoying the spa facilities.
