LUXEMBURG DEFINITIVE STAMPS

BACKGROUND: On 5th Dec 1940 existing Luxemburg issue stamps were overprinted with new 'Rpf' values. The original stamp is a Michel LU 170 that was issued on 10th Nov 1926. It was designed by Robert Savage and printed by the American bank Note Co. The image is the Grand Duchess Charlotte (1896-1985).

VALUE: 10Rpf on 40 Centime
