BACKGROUND: Two identical stamps were issued on 26th Nov 1940 by the State Printing Works in Vienna, featuring a portrait of Emil Adolf Von Behring who developed a diphtheria antitoxin in 1889 to fight against tetanus. In addition, there were also two special handstamps available.
