BACKGROUND: As in previous years a set of 9 stamps and six associated official postcards was issued from 27th Oct until the 9th of Nov 1939 to raise funds for the annual Winter Relief Charity. As well as the stamps and postcard there were also 5 related special handstamps.
This first stamp features an image of City Hall, Klagenfurt
