BACKGROUND: This was a re-issue of the Hindenburg Medallions II series from earlier in the year, but now with Swastika watermark and perf K14:14¼. As these stamps were produced over a long period of time, they do show significant variations in colour and shade.

COLOUR: Type (a) mid lilac-ultramarine, Type (b) bright ultramarine
WATERMARK: Swastika
PERF: K14x14¼.

SPECIAL CANCELS
