MIDDLE GERMAN COLONIAL SHOW
(29th Sep/13th Oct 1940)

BACKGROUND: This postcard was issued to commemorate the Middle German Colonial show held in Aussig from 29th Sep to 13th Oct 1940. There were two different design available, the one below and another depicting Africa in orange with white areas denoting the locations of the lost colonies and a large palm tree to the left. The colonies were clockwise from the top: DOA (Deutsche Ost Afrika), DSWA (Deutsche Südwest Afrika), Kamerun and Togo. This card bears the inscription "Mittledeutsche | Kolonialschau"
