BACKGROUND: I don't know the exact publication date for the following postcard but I have it cancelled in Jun 1940 so I have placed it here until a more accurate date can be determined.

The text on the card reads "Freiheit | dem deutschen | Luftpost" - "Freedom | for German | Airmail" followed by "Werdet Mitglied im | Deutschen Luftpost-Verband" - 'Become a member of | German Airmail Association'.

The card is unsigned but was printed by "Offsetdruck R. Barnick G.m.b.H of BERLIN"
