WINTER RELIEF FUND

BACKGROUND: This postcard was issued to commemorate the 6th National Street Collection of the Winterhilfswerk (W.H.W). There are quite a number of variations in the colour of the card, from white to brown. The example below left shows the special cancel that was used in BERLIN.

SPECIAL CANCEL: There was a special handstamp to commemorate this event, examples of which can be seen below.
