VISIT of PRINCE REGENT PAUL
(1st/8th Jun 1939)

BACKGROUND: 1st to 8th Jun 1939. The postcard below is the fourth of five postcards issued to commemorate the visit of Prince Regent Paul and Princess Olga of Yugoslavia to Germany. The first postcard was published by Hermann Hunsinger of Nürnberg and features portraits of Hitler on the left and Prince Regent Paul on the right.

Postcards 2,3 and 4 all feature the Prince Regent and the Princess. Numbers 2 and 3 were published by Verlag Th, König and have serial numbers 557 and 558 on the reverse (No. 558 is shown below on the left). Number 4 was published by Kristall and is shown below on the right.

Finally postcard five again features portraits of Hitler and Prince Regent Paul with the text 'Zum Staatstreffen Adolf Hitler und Prinzregenten Paul.'
