BACKGROUND: Published by Verlag f.Kulture u. Wirtschaftserbung Daenell & Co., Berlin NW40, In den Zelten 20.

The following propaganda cards were issued to commemorate Gau Day of the NSDAP from 22nd to 25th Jun 1939 in Brandenburg. The text on the reverse reads "Der Schöne Gau Mark Brandenburg | Bildreihe 20: kreis Potsdam" - 'The beautiful Gau Mark Brandenburg | Picture series 20: Potsdam district. Followed by a description of the image on the front side of the card.

The number of cards in this series is unknown but there are at least eight different views.

SONDERSTEMPEL: A special handstamp was available inscribed "POTSDAM | Gautag Potsdam-Gau Mark Brandenburg | 22.-25.6 1939", which can be seen below.
