The GERMAN COLONIAL EXHIBITION DRESDEN

BACKGROUND: 21st Jun to 10th Sep - These postcards were designed to remind Germans of the loss of their colonial empire. Germans were reminded that their colonies had been 'stolen' from them after the First World War by the Treaty of Versailles, and it was every German's duty to get them back.
