THE DAY OF GERMAN ART
(14th/16th Jul 1939)

BACKGROUND: Published by Münchener Grossveranstaltungen e.V, this postcard celebrates the Day of Germany Art, an exhibition held in Munich from 14th to 16th July 1939. There was a commemorative stamp and a special cancellation used for this event. The reverse of the card has a pre-printed 6Rpf Hindenburg Medallion stamp.
