BACKGROUND: This postcard was published by the K.d.F (Kraft Durch Freude) collectors' community to commemorate a "K.d.F friends" collectors event that was held in Leipzig. The Collectors' event was not just for stamp collectors but also for antiques, coins, pictures and badge collectors.

SPECIAL CANCEL: There was a special cancel available inscribed "LEIPZIG | Sammler- | Kameradschaftsabend", that was only available on the 7th of Jan.
