BACKGROUND: These two postcards were replacements for the official 'Day of the Stamp' postcards that sold out in Munich. The two 'official' cards are based on P225 and P226. PP126-C-17 has a 5Rpf Hindenburg Medallion pre-printed stamp and PP127-C-26 has a pre-printed 6Rpf Hindenburg Medallion stamp. There is a third variation, printed in black and without the pre-printed stamp.
