30th ANNIV and THE DAY OF THE STAMP - ASCHAFFENBURG

BACKGROUND: There were two identical postcards issued to commemorate the 30th Anniversary of the Association for Postage Stamp Knowledge as well as The Day of the Stamp. The first, PP122-C-42 has a 3Rpf Hindenburg Medallion pre-printed stamp and PP138-C-1 has a 1Rpf Hindenburg Medallion stamp and a 5Rpf Luftpost stamp.

SPECIAL CANCEL: A special cancel was available inscribed "ASCHAFFENBURG | 10.1.1937 | Tag der Briefmarke"
