There were a number of postcards was published to advertise the "Reichsausstellung Schaffendes Volk" or 'Reich's Exhibition of a Productive People' held in Düsseldorf from 8th May to October 1937. The exhibition was opened by Hermann Göering and was attended by 6 million people and its purpose was to showcase German achievements in Housing, city planning, art and science.
