25th GERMAN EAST FAIR
(16th/18th Aug 1937)

BACKGROUND: These postcards were issued to commemorate the combined 25th East German Fair and the 2nd Eastern Philatelic meeting for members from East Prussia and Danzig. There are two basic designs (PP122-50-C and PP142-C-15) and each has either a 3Rpf Hindenburg Medallion Stamp or a 5Rpf Luftpost stamp for a total of 4 variations. In addition, each of the 4 designs has an identical design only now with an additional "3 Philatelistische/Ostland-Tagung" inscription for a total of 8 possible combinations.
