BACKGROUND: The postcard below commemorates the BDM (Bund Deutscher Mädel or Association of German Girls), sponsored girl's meeting held in Münster from 9th to 14th Nov 1937.

The inscription reads "Mädel | treffen | 1000 Mädel-Gruppenführerinnen | des BDM Obergau Westfalen | vom 9.-14.November 1937 in Münster" - 'Girl's | meet | 1000 girls group leaders | of the BDM Obergau Westphalia | from November 9th to 14th, 1937 in Münster'.

The text along the bottom edge indicates that the card was designed by Walter Kiotz and was printed by E. Gundlach Aktiengeselschaft of Bielefeld.
