Published on 13th Jun 1937, this postcard (PP122-C-51) commemorates the Lauingen-Donau postal show held in Bavaria on 13th Jun 1937. Only one postcard was issued to commemorate the show and it has a 3Rpf Hindenburg Medallion pre-printed stamp. The images depict the market Square, to the left is the Town Hall (Rathaus) and the tall tower in the background is the 'Schimmelturm', a 54m tall watchtower constructed in 1457. The text below the music reads 'Gut zentriert und reine farbe, nicht verschmiert und ohne narbe, Durchslich, schnitt und Zahnung fein, se soll unsere Marke sein' - 'Well centred and pure color, not smeared and without scar, medium, cut and fine teeth, that's what our brand should be.'
