BACKGROUND: This postcard was issued to commemorate two events on 10th Jan 1937. The first event was the Colonial Postal Exhibition in Chemnitz and the other was The Day of the Stamp. The card exists with either a pre-printed 3Rpf Hindenburg Medallion stamp or without a pre-printed stamp.

SPECIAL CANCEL: There was a special cancel available inscribed "CHEMNITZ | 2. Tag der Briefmarke".
