BRIEFMARKEN WERBESCHAU FÜR DAS WHW
BREMEN POSTAGE STAMP EXHIBITION
(4th/5th Dec 1937)

Issued to commemorate the Bremen Postage Stamp Exhibition on 4th and 5th Dec 1937. There are two cards that both feature pre-printed 3Rpf Hindenburg Medallion stamps. The cards both have the same image of the city post office but there are some subtle differences, most obvious of which is the crest in the centre of the card at the bottom edge.

BACKGROUND: The reverse of the cards bears the inscription "Briefmarken=Werbeschau | FÜR DAS WHW | am 4. und 5. Dezember 1937 | Verein Bremer | Briefmarken-Sammler e.V | im Landesverband Weser-Ems des Reichsbundes der Philatelisten". The cards can be differentiated by the logo on the reverse side in the bottom left-hand corner. PP122-C-63/01 has two concentric circles with "ST.P.A | BREMEN" between the two rings and "4 | 12" inside the inner circle. PP122-C-63/02 has four concentric rings with the number '182' inside the inner circle.
