700th ANNIVERSARY POSTCARDS

This is probably the most common card out of a number of cards issued to comemmorate the anniversary and it exists in one of two main formats, with "700 Jahre Stadt Berlin" in yellow or in gold text. In addition the card with the gold text has quite a number of variations with additional texts or images on the front side (the side with the address).

KROLL ADVERTISING
ABOVE: This version also has gold coloured "700 Jahre Berlin" and has a "Kroll" advertising slogan on the front side.
ADDITIONAL HILDEBRAND TEXT
ABOVE: With this version the "700 Jahre Berlin" is in gold text and there is both an eight line historical text but also an additional seven lines beginning "HILDEBRAND"
ADDITIONAL KARSTADT TEXT
ABOVE: Again "700 Jahre Berlin" is in gold text and there is an eight line historical text. Now however there is an additional image and text referring to KARSTADT.
ADDITIONAL BERLIN GAS TEXT
ABOVE: Again "700 Jahre Berlin" is in gold text and there is an eight line historical text. Now however there is an additional advertisment "Berliner Gasversorgung in 100 Jahren" - "Berlin Gas Supply for 100 Years"
