WINTERHILFSWERK (WHW)

This series of postcards was published around Oct 1933 to raise funds for the Winterhilfwerk (Winter Relief) fund. The cards feature a number of different pins which were given out as a thank you for donations to the fund. There were hundreds of different pins available over the years through the Winterhilfswerk donations and this in itself is an interesting area of collecting.

1. GAU MECKLENBURG-LÜBECK

This first example was sponsored by Gau Mecklenburg-Lübeck.

2. GAU GROSS BERLIN

This second example was sponsored by Gau Greater Berlin.

3. EINER FÜR ALLE, ALLE FÜR EINEN

This third example was a little different from the two above in that it does not appear to have been sponsored by any of the gau. Instead it has a motto "Einer für Alle, Alle für einen" - "One for all, all for one".
