OTHER KLICKOW POSTCARDS ON OFFICIAL POSTCARDS

This Klickow sponsored postcard was printed on a 1900 issue P40-Ba-I postcard. The card was obviously invalid by the time this card was produced, so a current 3 Rpf self-adhesive stamp has been added in order to pay for the postage. The original pre-printed stamp has been invalidated with a Klickow company stamp and the 3 Rpf stamp has been cancelled with a special "STEINHAGEN (WESTF)" sonderstempel.

Below is a similar Klickow postcard using an older official postcard as the base. In this case the official card is a P70 and like the card above it has had the original stamps invalidated and a self adhesive 3 Rpf Hindenburg Medallion has been added in order to send the card through the post.

WITH OTHER PRE-PRINTED STAMPS

This Klickow postcard is listed as PP106-B-15/02 and bears a pre-printed 3 Rpf EBERT stamp. This example was cancelled on 31st Dec 1929 and advertises the company's range of overseas and colonial stamps. This particular stamp was valid from 1st Sep 1928 until 30th Jun 1934 so the card can be dated from sometime during that priod.
