15Rpf HINDENBURG MEDALLION STAMP
Issued: 1933/1934. Change of form, thin (single line) central divider. The sender's section now only has three lines of text and 3 dotted lines, the destination now has a single line of text. There are two versions of this card: P227-I has straight edges and P227-II has a serrated edge.
Privately overprinted versions of this official card were produced.
A P227 must have the following characteristics:
(1) 15Pf brownish-lilac, Hindenburg Medallion pre-printed stamp. And
(2) 3 lines of sender's text, 1 line of destination text and
(3) Only 1 vertical dividing line.

ADOLF HITLER & NAZI FLAG
This is the basic version of the card with a small image of Adolf hitler's head and shoulders in front of a Swastika flag, just beneath the sender's section. Other than this image there are no additions to the basic card.NIEDERSACHSENLAGER
The front of the card is the same as the basic card, but on the reverse is a picture of a carnival scene that takes up the whole side of the card. The inscription above the scene reads "NIEDERSACHSENLAGER", and the inscription below the scene reads "DER HITLER JUGEND 1937"REFERENCES:
