15Rpf HINDENBURG MEDALLION STAMP
Towards the end pf 1933 the 15RPf indicia postcard (P219) was re-issued with a colour change from carmine to brown-lilac. In addition, a reply card became available (P223), this reply card shared the same basic design as P218 through P222 but with the "Postkarte" text changed to "Postkarte mit Antwortkarte. Carte postale avec réponse payée" - 'Postcard with answer paid'.

1. Nice example of a used P222 cancelled on the BERLIN-HANNOVER train on 14.03.1934 and sent to PISA in ITALY. I'm not sure why the Italian postal service added a 20 and a 5 Centisimi postage due label since 15 Rpf was the correct fee for a postcard sent overseas from Germany.
