BACKGROUND: Like 1928 issue P183. Increased sender's note 5 pre-printed lines of text and 3 dotted lines (21 mm high). P197 is a double-sided reply card and has two 8 Rpf dark green Friedrich Ebert pre-printed stamp.



There are two versions of this card as follows:

P197-I: with four straight edges
P197-II: with one or more serrated edges.

As well as the official card there was an official card with additional private printing.
