BACKGROUND: PP97-A-1 to -7 are blank postcards featuring a 3Rpf pre-printed Johann Wolfgang von Goethe stamp. These cards are placed here as the 3Rpf Goethe stamp was first issued in 1926. These cards were valid until 30th Jun 1933.

PP97-A-2 is a blank card with 5 horizontal lines, a vertical dividing line and the text "Drucksache", "Absender" and "Wohnort".

PP97-A-3

PP97-A-3 is a blank card with 5 horizontal lines, a vertical dividing line and the text "Postkarte".

PP97-A-4

PP97-A-4 is a blank card with 5 horizontal lines, a vertical dividing line and the text "Postkarte", "Absender" and "Wohnort".

PP97-A-5

PP97-A-5 is a blank card with 5 horizontal lines, a vertical dividing line and the text "Postkarte | mit Antwortkarte | Absender". Note PP97-A-6 almost identical except no "mit" before "Antwortkarte".

PP97-A-6

PP97-A-6 is a blank card with 5 horizontal lines, a vertical dividing line and the text "Postkarte | (Antwort) | Absender". Note PP97-A-5 almost identical except additional "mit" before "Antwortkarte" and no brackets around "Antworte".

PP97-A-7

PP97-A-7 is a blank card with 5 horizontal lines and no vertical dividing line. "Drucksache" on the front side and printer's note "[II 1127 500 1943]". Reverse side additional text "Actung Rechnung".
