BACKGROUND: A series of six postcards was published in Aug 1922 to commemorate the "28. PHILATELISTEN-TAG-DES-BUNDES-DEUTSCHES-OESTERR-PHILATELISTEN-VEREINE-ZU-FRANKFURT-AM-MAIN" - '28TH PHILATELIST DAY OF THE BUNDES-GERMAN-AUSTRIAN PHILATELIST ASSOCIATIONS IN FRANKFURT-AM-MAIN.

Some of these cards can be found with a handstamp from "Saalburg (Taunus)" dated 13th Aug 1922. This handstamp reflects a day trip organised for the exhibition attendees to the nearby Roman Fort in Saalburg.
SPECIAL HANDSTAMP: A special handstamp was available in FRANKFURT am MAIN inscribed 'FRANKFURT (MAIN) 9 | 28. Philatelisten-Tag 9.-13. Aug.' that was used from 9th to 13th Aug 1922
