Issued 1900. Without any control codes, ie no publisher's mark, no watermark, and without gaps in the dotted destination address lines.
The Message side has 'Deutsche Reichspost | Postkarte' in the centre of the card. 'An' is all the way to the left and 'In' is between the 'An' and 'Postkarte'. On the bottom left is the inscription "Die Angebogene | Karte ist für die | Antwort | bestimmt.". Note the "K" of "Karte" is closed unlike P55 and P56 where the "K" is open.

The Answer side is the same design except for the inscription '(Antwort)' is added below 'Postkarte' and the "Die Angebogene | Karte ist für die | Antwort | bestimmt." inscription is no longer present.

1. Herrn M. Hannes of Berlin2. The following example was sponsored by a book trader in BERLIN named Verlagsbuchhandlung Paul Paren". This card was cancelled in BERLIN S.W on 21st Oct 1901 and arrived in HAMBURG the following day.
