FELDPOSTKARTE - AN DER WESTFRONT
FIELDPOSTCARD - ON THE WEST FRONT

This series of six postcards is titled "An der Westfront", 'on the Westfront' and is sub-titled "Künstlerpostkarte v. Kriegsmaler Albert Reich", 'Artist postcard from War painter Albert Reich'. The cards were published by "Verlag: Buchdruckerei und verlagsanstalt Carl Gerber, München 5" - 'Publisher: Carl Gerber printing and publishing house, Munich 5', and was sold in a folded paper cover. The cards do not have individual numbers but the cover lists them in the following order:

1. Posten im Vorfled - Post in advance
2. Stoβtrupp - Shock troop
3. Sturmangriff - Assault attack
4. Infanteriegeschütz - Infantry gun
5. Vormarsch - Advance
6. In Feuerstellung - In firing position

The inscriptions on the cards don't match those on the envelope exactly but they are close enough to determine the correct order.
