INFANTRIE KENNT KEINE HINDERNISSE
INFANTRY KNOWS NO OBSTACLES

This Erich Gutjahr series consists of 10 postcards, each one depicting the German Infantry overcoming various natural obstacles. Each card has the same title along the top edge 'INFANTRIE KENNT KEINE HINDERNISSE', and a brief description on the lower edge. Each description is different. The reverse side has an 'Infantry' logo at the top left and the card or 'Bestell Nr' on the bottom left and the series runs from Number 131 to 140 (Total 11 cards). The series is believed to have been issued on late 1941 or early 1942 and appears to be from the war on the eastern front.

Along the central dividing line is the name of the Publisher, 'Erich Gutjar, Bildverlag, Berlin NW 40, Lehrter straβe 40'. To the bottom left of the central divider is the photographer's name. There looks to be two identical series of these cards except one set has 'ERICH GUTJAHR' and the other has 'Erich Gutjahr'.
