COLONIAL KRIEGERDANK
POSTCARDS
There were several similar series of postcards issued on behalf of the Colonial Kriegerdank "Colonial Warriors". The cards were used to raise funds for former colonial members of the army, navy, Schutztroop, police forces as well as those who died in support of Germany's former colonies.
There are two major series below: the first series is numbered and was published by F.A. BROCKHAUS, LEIPZIG whereas the second series was published by GRAPHISCHE KUNSTANSTALTEN F.BRUCKMANN A.G, MUNCHEN. and is not numbered.
These cards were probably printed around 1914, at least that is the earliest postally used date I have seen thus far.
